The emergence of social movement can be traced early nineteenth century. Besides, the twentieth century also mark a watershed in development at global scale was fascist and right-wings groups which were regarded as movements rather than political parties because their approach strategies. This study seeks to examine challenges Nigerias democracy implications civil disobedience on democracy. Moreover, this is situated within new theory. data for collected from various secondary sources such textbooks, journals internet content analysis used analysed collected. revealed include stiffer regulations guiding mobilization inability develop unifying vision, building trust among communities, prompting extensive involvement, managing comprehensible home-grown countrywide strategies, training participants dedicated peaceful action, resisting suppression. However, under present democratic dispensation have been treated with mixed-feeling, it has resulted loss lives property.Lastly, suggested other things that good inclusive governance remain key achieving sustainable peace stability Nigeria.
